So what's been happening then? Well I will tell you :-) We have some good news and some not so good news, but it is definitely not bad news, let me assure you. As you are aware, we have our new live album "Another Time, Another Place" and the new single "I'm Alive" released very soon. Well I am glad to report that they are sounding wonderful and I cannot wait to get it out to you all. However, the release date of 1st November 2004 has now been put back to 1st December 2004. This is because there has been a minor hitch at the CD recoding plant and thus there are delays no only for us but other artists as well. Right then, the good news. The single is to include 4 unheard tracks plus, ready for this, the full video of the band performing the first single "Broken". This is the first time it has ever been officially released, so it is a must for all fans of Magenta to see what the band are like on the live stage. Also, if you go to F2 Music now, you can order the album and single together for a price of £20.00 and receive it before it has even hit the shelves. Good news or what? Other news now. On the 21st October our good friend in Peru, Ivan Melgar Morey in conjunction with La Lata are having a discussion group meeting dedicated to Magenta. If you follow the following link, La Lata, you can find out what it is all about. It is very exciting and we feel honoured to be part of such a discussion group in a country we hope to visit as a band one day. Good luck Ivan and thanks. A new "Gallery" section will be posted next week with exclusive pictures from The Point gig in September taken exclusively by our good friend and official photographer, Chris Walkden. The results are stunning and we hope you enjoy them, they really are wonderful. Finally, don't forget we are playing progSfest on the 31st October and we have just a few special offer £15.00 tickets left. So please follow this link - Tickets - (don't forget to put your name and address in the e-mail) to reserve your place. It is going to be a great week-end of top quality music. Also and this is an exclusive, we will be debuting a new song of the brand new studio album "Home", which is released in March 2005. Take care and thanks for tuning in. See you all soon. Cheers and Keep Rocking. Rob Reed. |
