Hello to you all. Sorry about the delay in updating the news but in the land of Magenta, everything is running at a million miles an hour and has been a case of catch up. We are getting very close to the release of "Seven" now and there is so much to do as far as publicity and such things. On top of all that, the band have been busy in the studio laying down the parts for our first ever single "Broken". It is sounding fantastic and a real rocker. News on getting your hands on the single will be available in the next 2 weeks, so keep watching this space.

The official launch party for the album is to be held on the 6th March 2004 at the in Llantrisant. As stated in the last news brief, this event is invitation only. We are therefore posting a competition today for 2 lucky people to come down to Llantrisant as the bands very special guests. You will be given a special event laminate and be treated to a night of drinks, music and fun. On top of that there will be some extra gifts for the 2 lucky winners plus 2 runners up prizes. To see what they are then go to the competition page. The evening will start with a few drinks and a chat with a full playback of the album. After that Magenta will do a special live set which will be filmed for a possible future release. In the set will be some tracks from "Revolutions", "Seven" and then to finish the set off, Magenta will be playing "Broken" live for the very first time. After that, it will be more drinks and a night of music and dancing. As you can see, this will be a great and special night and one definitely not to be missed. Get your answers in now and good luck.

We are talking to lots of people about gigs and things are progressing nicely. We should have the first couple of dates posted within the next 2 weeks. As you will see as well, we have added a "Press" section to the menu. This is a selection of press bites from various publications and Prog sites. Matthew has also updated the "Diary" and we are getting allot of mails saying how much they enjoy that aspect of the site, so get there now and see what tale Matthew has to regale you with today. The "Links" section has also been updated with lots of new sites for you to discover. Finally, the site will have MP3's loaded up soon. They are being prepared as we speak and then added to the menu very soon. An exact date is not confirmed yet, but we should be looking at around the end of February. Once again, it has been a pleasure and I look forward to chatting with you all very soon. Oh by the way, the track listing for "Seven" is up and what do you think of our new updated logo?
