Well hello there and how are we? Sorry about the delay in the news update but we have been so busy with the gig in Cardiff and the mix of the live album and new single that time has just flown by. The Point gig was just amazing and we would like to thank everyone for turning up and making it such a special night. If you want to see some pictures from the gig and a review courtesy of Stephen Lambe then please follow the following link for Musical Discoveries. Also a review courtesy of Danny Mayo can be found at the following link The Hairless Heart Herald. We can now officially announce that the live album "Another Time, Another Place" will be released on the 1st November 2004 and along with it the 2nd single "I'm Alive", will also be officially released on the same date. Check out www.progrock.co.uk for purchase details. We will be updating the "Gallery" section of this site soon with exclusive pictures from Chris Walkden. Right then, our next gig, which is at progSfest in Chippenham, Wiltshire on the 31st October. Tickets are selling really well and in association with the event we have 40 tickets available at a special price of £15.00 for the Sunday we are playing. If you want to attend at this special Magenta privileged rate then please e-mail us at the following link - progSfest tickets - and the first 40 will be able to attend for this great inaugural event for a mere £15.00. Just give us your name and address details and we will mail back with all the information you need to capitalize on this special offer. Do it, you know it makes sense. Next news brief we will have a full track listing for both the live album and single and you will be the first to know only here at Magenta HQ. We will also have some news on a forthcoming event in Peru. Unfortunately we won't be playing there but there is a Magenta night happening and details will be posted within the next week. Anyway, sorry again about the delay in posting but we will speak very, very soon. Take care all. Cheers and Keep Rocking. Rob Reed. |
