There we have, another year over with, but what a year. I hope you all had a great time? Here is the first major piece of news for you all...... Magenta are going into the studio in the first week of February to record, are you ready? "Broken" which will be a special limited edition SINGLE. Yes you read it right a single which will not be included on the album. The band are currently all getting their parts together and then off we go. This single will be available through www.progrock.co.uk. "Broken" will also be the first song by Magenta to run in under 10 minutes. The running time will actually be about 5 minutes. On the single as well will be some previously unreleased material that will be recorded at the same session. You will be able to order it soon, so keep logging on and I will exclusively give you the time for you to place your orders, but remember, this is a very special offer and you will have to be quick. If you look on the "Seven" section of this site as well, you will see for the first time the full running order of the album and the running times of the songs.

As we speak dates are being negotiated and we have 4 confirmed so far. When we have more they will be posted immediately. This time we intend to take all over the place and we will be planning two excursions. One around April / May and one around September / October. They will be two week tours taking in as many places as possible. We will have other dates spaced throughout the year so keep watching this space.

The gallery has been expanded, so there are more shots than ever. Eventually, there will be a couple of different galleries for you to choose from and that will be happening over the next couple of months. We will also be adding some MP3 samples soon, so the uninitiated can get a taste of what Magenta are all about. Matthew has also added the second part of his diary and the third will be coming next month. Finally, as you know, "Seven" is released on the 1st March 2004 and to coincide with that we are having a launch party. The date is booked but we still have some arranging to do. It will be limited to "40" invited guests only, with a full play back of the album and an exclusive set by Magenta. We will be running a competition soon for some of you to come down as our V.I.P. guests on that day and be treated to the full Magenta experience. Full details of the prize will be posted soon.
