Nice to see you, to see you, nice!  How are we all today?  Well Magenta land has been very hectic with one thing and another and we wouldn't want it any other way.  As you are aware, we played progSfest 2004 on the 31st October and it was wonderful.  Shaun Hunt, the promoter, did a wonderful job of organising this inaugural event and his team were brilliant as well.  There were loads of great bands over this week-end and I am glad to say that progSfest 2005 is officially happening due to this years success.  We went on without a sound check and played our hearts out, enjoying every single moment of being on stage.  We were so pleased with the reaction from the crowd and I know a lot of new friends have been made.  Thanks to everyone who was there for making us feel so welcome and for giving us your support.  If you want to read some reviews of the festival you can find 2 at the following links - progSfest 2004 (1) - Danny Mayo of The Hairless Heart Herald - progSfest 2004 (2) - John Morley - New Horizons.  Finally on the matter of that week-end, we can confirm that we will back there next year and this time we will be the headline act on the Sunday.  The official dates are Saturday 15th October and Sunday 16th October 2005.  We are the only band confirmed so far.  We will keep you posted on the others as we get them.

Now to the next gigs.  As you can see on the front page of this site, we have posted a certain poster for a very important gig - Progeny 2, The Astoria - 22nd November.  This promises to be a memorable day and we hope to see as many of you there as possible.  We will playing a 1 hour set and we will be going out there and giving everything we have for you, so we want to see you down the front enjoying the set with us.  After that we are in Rotherham for the BOTY awards at the Oakwood Centre - 27th November We will playing with the superb IQ and that promises to be a night to remember too.  We will be on stage for 45 minutes and we are going to do a kick ass, rocking set, I promise you :-).  Get your tickets while you can and please come and have a drink and chat with us afterwards.  We love meeting you all, it means a lot to us to have you there.

Finally, there is an all new Gallery added to this site.  The pictures were taken exclusively by our good friend, Chris Walkden at the Cardiff Point gig on the 24th September 2004 and the results are stunning.  Please enjoy.  Anyway, good to speak to you and see you in London and at the Rotherham.  Keep Rocking!!!!!!!

Cheers,

Rob Reed.
